Banquets and Graduations and Holidays, Oh My!
Our ADX in Zetaland banquet was amazing! Everyone dressed up mad hatter style and we had a beautiful night drinking tea and eating crepes (photos soon to follow).
We are all looking forward to next semester and what God has in store for us! Two of our active members, Ruby and Jazzberry Jam, graduate this semester! They have been such a blessing and it is a bittersweet moment, but we congratulate them on their hard-work and their dedication to ADX! There have been some major, unexpected changes in leadership for next semester, but God is directing us and orchestrating His plans for our chapter. We ask for your prayers that God would continue to grow our chapter, as more of our active body will be graduating.
With that, this is a bittersweet post for me, as I will be inactive next semester, but my little, Wicklow, has stepped up to the plate and will be keeping you all informed!
We wish you a Merry CHRISTmas and a blessed new year :)

Fall '10 Update!
Oh my goodness! God has blessed us soooo much this semester! We have 2 beautiful pledges! [One of which is my little, so, I’m a little biased] and we have 10 actives! Yay! Be praying for the coming semester’s rush, as 5 of our girls will be graduating (one after this semester and the rest in spring)!
Our first excursion to Pismo for the flag football tournament was a complete and total success! It was really awesome meeting so many ADX and AGO-ers!...? I know that for our chapter specifically, it was really cool physically seeing that we are a part of something so big. I think that at times we are discouraged, since we are a fairly small group – fitting since we are just beginning – but it was a huge encouragement to see everyone and know that we have so much support! God has been so gracious to us, and continues to bless our chapter in ways we had never expected.
Which brings me to this past weekend! We had our retreat in fabulous San Diego! It was a beautiful weekend of bonding and growth in Christ. We woke up to the pouring rain and when the weather cleared, we went to Bates Nut Farm and had some fall-time fun! If you are in San Diego, and haven’t gone yet, YOU NEED TO GO! The end. Anyway, aside from our field trip to Bates and church on Sunday, the rest of the weekend was really low-key, fun, and relaxing. This weekend we delved into God’s Word and found what it really means for God to love and romance us. God’s love is so much deeper than we seem to realize, or even acknowledge. He loves us, is jealous for us, and though He knows us better than anyone, He wants us to be vulnerable and open with Him in everything. It was beautiful hearing how God has romanced us each individually, and continually leads us back to Him in ways that are specific and unique to each of us. What an incredible God we serve!
In His love,

Beginnings
Hello all! I’m so excited to be starting this blog for our chapter! This will be a place where you can stay updated on what’s going on with us. Here is a little bit about how we got to where we are now:
In the Spring of 2009, a group of girls started getting together for Bible studies weekly to begin the journey to rechartering. We then sent in our letter of intent to the National Board and began to wait for their response and ultimately God’s will for us. The Saturday before the Fall semester began, we were granted permission to recharter! I honestly cannot tell you how excited we all were to get started! Jan Esser, our advisor and Zeta alumnus, helped us SO much and taught us an incredible amount of info while loving on us in so many ways. And then we were blessed beyond compare with our wonderful, beautiful, incredible big sis’s, who have taught us, cared for us, and stretched us in our faith and love. Anyway, they were, and are, a Godsend, literally, and helped us with so much throughout that semester. That semester was filled with ups and downs, as most journeys of this nature entail, but God gave us the courage and perseverance to make it through and realize that this was one of the most rewarding and special blessings that He could have given us, possibly right when we needed it the most.
Now this brings us to this past semester [Spring 2010] when we were blessed with four beautiful new sisters, way more than we were expecting, we were just hoping for one! Well, that will teach us to put God in a box! He will always surprise us and bless us more than we expect. This semester was one of growth in our friendships, our love for one another, and our longing for Him and His will. Filled with things like our first retreat and the dodge ball tournament in SLO, we have had so many lovely memories! We still had a lot to figure out this past semester, what our jobs really entailed of, how to make it work, and how to have meetings that are not 3 hours long… but we’ve learned from our mistakes and have a wealth of information in our fellow sisters in other chapters. Convention was a great help for us, and though we were not all able to attend, Topaz and Sapphire came home with loads of information for us! We are looking forward to Fall 2010 and what God will bring us!! So much planning still to do and it will be very different since this is the first time we are all changing our roles/jobs. God is incredible and has blessed our road and will continue to do just that. May all the glory be His!
